“And it happened that, while he was with them at table, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them. With that their eyes were opened and they recognized him, but he vanished from their sight. Then they said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning [within us] while he spoke to us on the way and opened the scriptures to us?” So they set out at once and returned to Jerusalem where they found gathered together the eleven and those with them … Then the two recounted what had taken place on the way and how he was made known to them in the breaking of the bread.” Luke 5:30-35

Rite/Order of the Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA/OCIA) is the process through which adults who have encountered Jesus Christ, even briefly, and are attracted to the Catholic Church journey to learn more about the Church, grow in relationship with Jesus Christ, and discern joining the Church. RCIA can also help adults rediscover the Catholic faith and become a process to reconcile with the Church. RCIA sessions are on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm in the parish library, September to May. Please call the parish office for additional information.

The “Wise Elders” (Seniors) of St. Mary’s are invited to gather each month for instructional videos, guest speakers, or “game days.” Please call the parish office for more information.
