Knights of Columbus–Moscow

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal men’s organization founded in 1882 to assist the widows and orphans of deceased members. Their mission is to provide for loved ones, promote parish life through charitable work, protect the life of the unborn, and support youth, community, priests, seminarians, and religious men and women. Membership is open to any practicing Catholic man.

Knights of Columbus Council 1397 is centered at St. Mary’s Parish, Moscow, and includes Round Tables at St. Augustine’s, Moscow and St. Mary’s, Potlatch.  Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Knights of Columbus Room in the Family Center.  The Fourth Degree Assembly meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Knights of Columbus Room.

K of C Council 1397 is very active in parish life.  They sponsor Boy Scout Troop 326 along with the Cub Scout Pack 326.  Every year they hold a Sausage Feed featuring their signature homemade sausage and a number of fundraising breakfasts.  The proceeds of these meals are donated to charity.  They also sponsor two $750 scholarships for graduating Catholic high school seniors.  Additionally, they do all of the behind-the-scenes work and grilling for the annual Parish Picnic.
