Liturgy & Prayer

Central to our life as a community of Christians is prayer. In opening ourselves to the contemplation of God, we allow the divine to become present in our humanity.

The Eucharist — The Mass

The celebration of the Eucharist is of paramount importance to our formation as Christians and our task of sanctifying the world. At St. Mary’s, we make great effort that our Eucharistic celebrations may lead us deeper into the mystery of Christ.

Eucharistic Adoration

We expose the Blessed Sacrament for prayer and the adoration of the faithful, in order to foster prayer and worship of Jesus.

We regularly have exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on the first Friday of the month, from just after the morning Mass, through the night, until 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. You are welcome to “drop in.” The Blessed Sacrament is reposed at 8 am, with solemn benediction if the priest or deacon is able.

Other Prayer Events

There are many other prayer events at St. Mary’s throughout the year, including many incorporated into the meetings of our organizations and faith formation programs. Watch in the bulletin and on our website for other opportunities!

Church Hours

The church is regularly open, Sunday to Friday, from approximately 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. In winter, the church may be closed a little earlier, at approximately 6 p.m.. On Saturdays, the church is open from 8 a.m. until approximately 6:30 p.m. (There may be rare instances when the church is locked early.)

Anyone who would like is welcome to come into the church to pray.
