SALT Family Formation (SALT - Serving And Learning Together)
Our parish strives to partner with parents to help them build Strong Catholic Families: Strong Catholic Youth. Gathered input helps shape our programs so we can better serve the needs of our families.
Family Formation is a program created by the Church of St. Paul in Ham Lake, MN to better enable parents to be the first educators of the faith to their children. The parish hosts one catechist-led session per month for children 3yrs-6th (8th) gr. Parents also receive their own education on the monthly topic as well instruction on how to use the home lessons the other three weeks of the month. Parish sessions are on the second Sunday of the month, Sept-Apr (unless a holiday of school break requires it to be the 1st Sunday.)
Registration for SALT Family Formation is May through July. Register online here .
If you are interested in serving on an advisory board, please contact Marie Becker.
The parish will work with families who work weekends or have other serious obligations that prevent their family attending catechist-led sessions.
